Keto Chili Con Carne – The Best Low Carb, No Beans Version That’s Easy To Make with Ground Beef and Just One Pan.

We rate this as a medium-heat dish. If you like a hotter keto chili con carne, just add more fresh chili or chili powder (or add less if you want a milder chili).

This recipe yields approximately 1.3kg/2.8lb of keto chili con carne. We have made a serving size of 3/4 cup, equal to approximately 150g/5oz of Spicy Beef Chili.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 1 small Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, crushed
  • 2 small Red Chili’s, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt
  • 2 pounds of Ground Beef
  • 2 tablespoons of Tomato Paste
  • 1 tablespoon of Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of Cumin, ground
  • 1 tablespoon of Coriander, ground
  • 1 pound of Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoon of Pepper

If you like your keto chili hot, it can be made hotter with your favorite hot ingredients, so feel free to experiment. Alternatively, if you like your chili milder, you can leave the chili out altogether if you wish.

How To Make Keto Chili Con Carne

How to make Keto Chili Con Carne
  1. Place a large saucepan over high heat.
  2. Add the oil, onion, garlic, and chopped chilies and saute for 3-5 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the chili powder and salt and stir well.
  4. Add the ground beef. Stir continuously to break apart the meat, saute for 10 minutes until the beef is well browned.
  5. Add the tomato paste, paprika, cumin, coriander, and pepper, and stir well.
  6. Cook for 5 minutes before adding the canned diced tomatoes. Mix well.
  7. Reduce the heat to a low simmer and cook uncovered for 20-30 minutes. If you prefer your chili a little more “soupy,” add a cup of beef stock.
  8. Taste your chili and add additional salt and pepper if desired.
  9. Serve immediately, or cool and store in the fridge or freezer.

How To Store Keto Chili

Store Keto Chili in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Keto Chili can be reheated in a saucepan or microwave.

  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper ground

Instructions

  • Add the tomato paste, paprika, cumin, coriander and pepper and stir well.

  • Cook for 5 minutes before adding the canned diced tomatoes. Mix well.
    1 pound Diced Tomatoes
  • Reduce the heat to a low simmer and continue to cook, uncovered, for 20-30 minutes.
  • Taste your chili and add additional salt and pepper if desired.
  • Serve immediately, or cool and store in the fridge for 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
