Made this just as written except only 1/2 because theres just 2 of us. It was delicious with a fresh green salad. The leftovers I decided to make into soup next day by adding some frozen riced cauliflower , 2.5 tsp curry powder and 2c of chicken stock and pureeing (took out a little for texture and added back in at end) delicious for lunch.
Hi Susan, love the soup idea and Im a big fan of curry so I might give that a try next time. Thank you!
Meal prepping for our family of 7 going to the beach. Should I cook this before freezing or after? Thanks!
Hi Julie, You could do either. I think cooking after freezing might be better but I have not done that.
thank-you so much for this recipe. I wasn’t sure how it was going to taste but tried it just the way it was written. I was so glad to be surprised ! Just the right amount of seasoning and all the flavors came together and was very satisfying. I will be back to explore more recipes for sure.
Hello Terry, thank you. Its one of my favorite recipes actually its our popular recipe. Thank you for the feedback.
Can I make it w/ regular milk?
Hello Fatima, yes you can but you’ll have to consider the sugar and carbohydrate content of milk. Hope that helps.
My husband absolutely loved this. What else is there to say? It’s definitely going into the regular rotation. Thank you!
So glad he loved it Lilly. It’s one of my favorites too. So easy!
I love this recipe. I live alone. Freeze in individual containers! Saves money on food bill and tastes amazing.
Thank you Susan 🙂
My family and I love this recipe! It’s delicious and a great way to use fresh basil from the garden (I’m always looking for places to use that!) I ESPECIALLY appreciate the measurements of ingredients added to the steps in the recipe, so I don’t have to go back and forth or pre measure everything beforehand.
Hello Tara, its one of my favorite recipes too. We make it all of the time, even our non keto friends make it. Thank you for the kind words 🙂
My husband told me multiple times how good this casserole was, and he offered that I can make it again anytime. It’s hard to please the teenager with anything that includes vegetables and “too much” cheese, but the grown-ups loved it.
I just loved the keto creamy chicken broccoli casserole recipe! I would love to finish the recipe with a little bit of clarified butter or ghee. I personally prefer the taste of ghee instead of any other cooking fats.
We like a little bit of a crunchy topping on our casseroles. I took a couple of cups of pork rinds in each them down into breadcrumb texture, added some Cajun seasoning, and then mixed that with the cheese to top the caserole.
PERFECTION! We loved the creamy casserole with the crunchy topping.
Hello Shelley, what a great idea. I will give the pork rinds a go next time we make it. Thank you for the tip and feedback.
Yum! I read your review and add panko to mine. I can’t get enough of this recipe!
Just made this for the family tonight. Everyone scarfed it down and said it’s their favorite dish I’ve made!
“scarfed it down” love it! Thank you for the feedback, Kristi glad you loved the casserole, it’s one of my favorites too!
It’s rare that everyone in the fam, including 3 professional cooks, can agree on a casserole.
AND I didn’t share that it was keto
Hi Pat, thank you so much. So glad everyone loved it. It is our popular recipe by far, everyone loves it.
Delicious, non keto husband LOVED it!! Making it for a neighbor who just got home from the hospital. Thank you so much!
How good is it when you can have Keto and those that aren’t keto love the food too? Thank you for the feedback, Lani, it’s our favorite casserole recipe too.
