  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded aged (tasty) cheddar
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 7 oz of rindless bacon
  • 1/2 of an onion
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herbs
  • 2 teaspoon of garlic powder

  1. Break the cauliflower up into florets and blanch for 5 minutes (boil then quickly run under cold water) and drain
  2. Add the cauliflower to a small baking dish
  3. Add the sour cream and coat the cauliflower with it evenly
  4. Add 3 cups of the mozzarella mix well
  5. Cut the bacon rashers into strips and add on top
  6. Add the onion
  7. Add the Italian herbs
  8. Add the garlic powder
  9. Add the rest of the mozzarella
  10. Add the grated cheddar
  11. Put in the oven at 350 deg (180 Celsius) for 25 minutes
  12. Remove and serve.

  1. I made this and it was really delicious…guests loved it and asked for second helpings. I blended the seasonings in with the cauliflower, cheese and sour cream instead of layering as the recipe called for. I also precooked the bacon and crumbled it into the cauliflower mixture before baking, and blended the last mozzarella and cheddar cheese and spread it on top.
    I will be making this dish again.
