This Creamy & Buttery Keto Cauliflower Mash recipe is a great substitute for mashed potato. Delicious, healthy, and very easy to make.

The recipe below makes five servings of Creamy Buttery Keto Cauliflower Mash.

Our buttery keto cauliflower mash goes well as a side in place of mashed potato with our other keto meals Chicken, Cheddar and Chive Meatballs, Low Carb Beef Schnitzels, Corned Beef, and Low Carb Chicken Feta Meatballs.

Cauliflower Mash Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of Cauliflower, approximately 1.5lb
  • 3 ounces of Butter
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt
  • ½ teaspoon of Pepper, ground

How to make Keto Cauliflower Mash

How to make mashed cauliflower.
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into evenly sized florets.
  3. Gently add the cauliflower to the boiling water and cook for 5-8 minutes until the cauliflower is tender.
  4. Drain the cauliflower well and return it to the warm pot. 
  5. Add the butter, salt, and pepper.
  6. Blend the cauliflower with a good stick blender until there are no lumps.
  7. Allow the mash to sit and rest for 3 minutes, and then blend again. This rest and blend step makes the cauliflower extra smooth and creamy.
  8. Serve and enjoy.

How To Store Mashed Cauliflower

Store mashed cauliflower in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.

Instructions
