This Keto Teriyaki Sauce is life-changing for lovers of Japanese food who want to stay low-carb. It’s sweet, salty, and garlicky – perfect over chicken or beef with zero net carbs.

  • 1 tablespoon of Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon of Ginger, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Xanthan Gum
  • 2 tablespoons of Sesame Seeds, optional

  1. Place all the ingredients, except the xanthan gum, in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together.
  2. Bring to the boil and reduce by about ¼ of a cup (keep a close eye on the sauce as it is prone to boiling over).
  3. Sprinkle the xanthan gum over and whisk in.
  4. Continue to boil until the sauce has thickened, then remove from the heat.
  5. Stir through the sesame seeds if used.
  6. Serve the hot sauce over chicken, fish, steak, or vegetables or allow to cool to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the fridge.
