  • 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, sliced
  • 2 medium Spanish Onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 large Red Peppers, roughly diced
  • 1-3 Cayenne Chilis
  • ⅓ cup of Red Wine Vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons of Water
  • 1-3 teaspoons of Swerve
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt

How to make Keto Pepper Relish
  1. Place a medium saucepan over high heat.
  2. Add the oil, onion, and garlic and saute until the onion is soft.
  3. Add the peppers and chili, and saute for 5 minutes.
  4. Drop the heat to medium and add the vinegar and water.
  5. Simmer until the liquid has evaporated and the peppers are tender enough to be broken up by a spoon.
  6. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for 20 minutes.
  7. Blend the relish using an immersion blender to your desired consistency – we like it spreadable but still chunky.
  8. Add the sweetener and salt to taste.
  9. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

      I always err on the side of caution when suggesting how long to store a recipe for, the last thing I want is for someone to get sick!
