  • 1 pound of Green Beans, fresh, ends trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons of Salt Flakes
  • ¼ cup of Slivered Almonds

How to make garlic green beans
  1. Boil the beans for 5 minutes until tender and drain well.
  2. Place a non-stick frying pan over high heat and add the oil, butter, garlic, and salt.
  3. Saute the garlic and salt for 3 minutes then add the almonds. Saute until the almonds are browned.
  4. Mix through the green beans and continue cooking for 3 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
