Keto Sausage Breakfast Casserole Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
- 1 small Onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon of Paprika, ground
- 1 pound of Ground Sausage
- 12 Eggs
- 1/2 cup of Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Pepper
- 10 ounces of Cheddar Cheese, grated
How to make Keto Breakfast Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 175C/350F.
- Place a non-stick frying pan over high heat.
- Add the olive oil, onion, and paprika, and saute until the onion starts to turn translucent.
- Add the sausage and break up with a spoon. Cook until well browned.
- Remove from the heat and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add the cream, almond milk, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until the ingredients are well combined. Add half the cheese, reserving half for the top, and mix well.
- Add the browned sausage to the egg mixture, mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x13in a casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
- Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes, until the egg barely jiggles at all when moved.
- Remove from the oven and leave to sit for 5 minutes before cutting into portions.
- Serve and enjoy.
