  • 16 Beef or Pork Chipolata Sausages (ensure you check the carb count and check ingredients for fillers and preservatives or find a good butcher, high-quality sausages have fewer carbs in them).
  • 16 slices of Bacon
  • ⅓ cup of Homemade Sugar-Free Barbecue Sauce (If you’re not fussed about being low carb you can use regular BBQ Sauce)

  1. Preheat oven to 200C/400F.
  2. Wrap the chipolata sausages in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Place in a roasting tray.
  4. Roast for 10 minutes then remove and brush with half of the barbecue sauce.
  5. Roast for another 10 minutes then baste with the remaining barbecue sauce. Cook for another 10-15 minutes until your sausages are cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before carefully removing the toothpicks.
  7. Serve immediately with extra Barbecue Sauce for dipping.
