This chili cheese dog bake is a very easy to make one-pot casserole with a delicious meaty sauce and melted cheese.

Prefer your chili to be smoother and more like the canned version? Just blend it on pulse in your food processor after simmering.

The ground beef chili can also be used for a variety of other recipes if you want some variety.

  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 8 Hot Dogs, chopped – look for the lowest carb
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small Onion, diced
  • 1 pound of Ground Beef
  • 2 teaspoons of Cumin, ground
  • 2 teaspoons of Coriander, ground
  • 2 teaspoons of Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt
  • ½ teaspoon 0f Pepper, ground
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup of Tomato Passata
  • 1 cup of Cheddar Cheese, shredded

How to Make Chili Cheese Dog Bake

  1. Preheat your oven to 200C/390F.
  2. Place a large nonstick frying pan over high heat. Add the oil and hot dogs, cook until browned. Set aside to cool.
  3. Add the onion, garlic and ground beef to the frying pan and cook until browned.
  4. Add the spices, salt, and pepper and mix well. Followed by the Worcestershire and tomato passata.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Chop the hot dogs into small pieces and stir into the beef chili mix.
  7. Pour into a casserole dish and top with the cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, until the cheese has browned.
  9. Serve hot with fresh Keto Cheddar Biscuits, or a side of Low Carb Coleslaw.
