  1. In a mixing bowl, add all the sauce ingredients and whisk together. Set aside.
  2. Place a large non-stick frying pan or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the sesame oil, garlic, chili and onion and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground beef and stir-fry until browned.
  5. Pour over the sauce and simmer until it has reduced and thickened, coating the ground beef.
  6. Remove from the heat and mix through the scallions and sesame seeds.
  7. Serve immediately with a side of Cauliflower Rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1-2 small red chili thinly sliced
  • 1 small Onion thinly sliced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup Scallions thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

  1. I just made this for dinner tonight and it was SO good. I used cayenne powder instead of red chili’s and stevia as the sweetener but it was still really good. Instead of Cauliflower rice I served it on a plate beside some loaded cauliflower mash and it worked well. Thanks for the great recipe.

  2. Is there a non-spicy ingredient you would recommend I can use in place of the red chilies for my 5-year-old son? This looks delicious.
