These Parmesan Chicken Wings can also be cooked in the oven. Just bake at 200C/400F for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, then broil your wings to crisp them up.
Parmesan Chicken Wings Ingredients
- 2 pounds of Chicken Wings, cut into flats and drumettes
- 2 teaspoons of Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Pepper, ground
- 1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper, ground
- Sauce Ingredients
- ⅓ cup of melted butter
- ⅓ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon of Parsley, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder
- Salt, to taste
How to Make Parmesan Chicken Wings
- Place your wings in a large mixing bowl and add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne. Mix well and leave the wings to marinate for 3 hours or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your deep fryer to 180C/355F.
- Fry the chicken wings in batches with similar-sized pieces until brown, crispy, and cooked. Cooking times will vary depending on the size of your wings, test with a meat thermometer or cut into the largest one to check.
- Add the melted butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, and salt in a large heatproof bowl.
- Toss the cooked wings into the buttery-parmesan mixture and serve immediately.
