Ingredients for Making Lemon & Chive Compound Butter:

  • 3 tablespoons of Chives, finely chopped
  • 1 lemon, finely zested and 1 tablespoon of juice
  • 1 stick (4 ounces) of Unsalted Butter, softened
  • ¼ teaspoon of Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of Pepper

How To Make Compound Butter:

  1. In a mixing bowl place all ingredients.
  2. Mix well, ensuring everything is combined.
  3. Gently spoon onto a sheet of cling film and roll into a log shape.
  4. Set in the fridge for 20 minutes before serving. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
