Fried Halloumi with Low Carb Lemon Dressing Ingredients
- Low Carb Lemon Dressing
- 2 tablespoons of Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon Mustard
- 1 pinch White Pepper
- 1 pinch of Erythritol
- 1/4 cup of Olive Oil
- Fried Halloumi
- 8 ounces Halloumi Cheese
- 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
How to Make Fried Halloumi with Low Carb Lemon Dressing
- Low Carb Lemon Dressing
- Place the lemon juice, mustard, salt, pepper, and erythritol in a multi-speed blender and mix on high speed for 3 minutes.
- Drop the speed to medium and slowly add the olive oil in a steady stream.
- Continue blending for 2 minutes, then taste and adjust the seasoning. Set aside.
- Fried Halloumi
- Slice the halloumi into 7mm/0.25in slices.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Ensure the oil is nice and hot before adding the halloumi.
- Fry the halloumi for 2-3 minutes, or until nice and brown before flipping over for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from the pan and drizzle with the lemon dressing. Enjoy.
