Keto Teriyaki Sauce - EASY Sugar-Free Japanese Recipe

  • Place all the ingredients, except the xanthan gum, in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together.
  • Bring to the boil and reduce by about ¼ of a cup (keep a close eye on the sauce as it is prone to boiling over).
  • Sprinkle the xanthan gum over and whisk in.
  • Continue to boil until the sauce has thickened, then remove from the heat.
  • Stir through the sesame seeds, if using.
  • Serve the hot sauce over chicken, fish, steak or vegetables or allow to cool to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the fridge.
