These Garlic Mushrooms are one of our favorite side dishes they’re loaded with garlic and butter and go great with a juicy steak or a side to lamb.

This easy garlic mushrooms recipe has been a staple for our grilled and BBQ dishes for years.

Tip: When buying your mushrooms look for the smallest button mushrooms that you can find as they cook better and present perfectly.

  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt Flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon of Pepper, ground
  • 1 pound of Button Mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons of Butter
  • 2 tablespoons of Parsley, chopped

How to Make The Best Garlic Mushrooms

How to make the best garlic mushrooms
  1. Place a large non-stick frying pan over high heat.
  2. Add the oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, and saute until fragrant.
  3. Add the mushrooms and coat in the mixture.
  4. Continue stirring the mushrooms and add the butter 1 tablespoon at a time, allow each to melt and coat the mushrooms before adding the next.
  5. Once the mushrooms have started to release liquid, reduce the heat to medium and stir occasionally until all the liquid has evaporated and the mushrooms have turned a deep brown color (it will take 10-15 minutes).
  6. Remove from the heat and mix through the parsley before serving.

    This was the BEST mushroom recipe I have ever made. The flavor and tenderness of the mushrooms, it has no match. Not even restaurants’ plates can match this flavor. And it was sooo easy to make. I will never made mushrooms any other way. Thank you!!

    Awesome and easy recipe. Is a really nice side dish. The first direction to start on high heat is a mistake. The garlic will burn up Just start on medium heat. With that one tweak, this will be prepared weekly.

      Thank you, we’ll amend the heat instruction. It may have been the stove we were using at the time it wasn’t very hot.
